My Favorite On-line Discount Shopping Site

I have been shopping on Rue La La for over 10 years. In preparation for this blog, I called to ask if they could tell me how much I had saved in that time but they could only tell me how much I'd spent. I won't be sharing that figure with you. This blog is not "Confessions of a Shopaholic."

Rue La La is a members-only shopping site, sometimes referred to as a flash sale site,  that sells home furnishings, accessories, brand-name clothes, and designer shoes for less. They even offer travel packages at discount prices. Anyone can become a member simply by signing up. Returns are easy and customer service is great. I won't shop anywhere that doesn't accept returns because I often have buyer's remorse.

I shop primarily for myself, my daughters, and my granddaughters but often find things for the guys. I have purchased furniture, cosmetics, jewelry, sheets, towels, and more, all at great savings.

 I fell in love with this cardigan at the Johnny Was store in Santa Barabara but couldn't bring myself to pay the hefty price. Two weeks after I got home, guess what? It appeared on Rue La La! A bargain, in my size, I figured God meant for me to have it. I won't tell you how much I paid, but I saved $250. Johnny Was is frequently featured on Rue La La.

My granddaughter needed a long dress in this particular color for rush. We looked all over Memphis but couldn't find any thing at any price. Two weeks before she was ready to leave for college, I found this on Rue for $110–half the retail cost.

She also needed a short white dress for rush. I ordered two that I thought she would like and let her choose. She liked this one best. It was $49.99 which is about half-price.

I didn't need to return the second choice because my younger granddaughter loved it. Another bargain at 39.99.
